Hand Brooms for Deaf and hard of hearing makers with Gary Crase

Description: Learn to make a turkey wing hand broom from start to finish in an workshop specifically designed for Deaf and hard of hearing learners. The class will focus on clear visual demonstration and hands on learning, with plenty of time to work through each step, ask questions, and learn together. No prior broom making is required. Come ready to make a broom and take a home a new set of skills.

Instructor: Gary Crase is the maker behind Lightning Struck Baskets Brooms. Besides broom and basket making, Gary is also fluent in American Sign Language. An additional interpreter will be present as well.
