From The Land To Your Home
By sourcing our materials directly from our region and funding farmers to help us raise crops, we're helping to regenerate a thriving, local economy and working towards a craft with a strong sense of place.
Our Origins
Sunhouse Craft was started by artist/maker Cynthia Main as a place to combine her foundation in woodworking and traditional craft with a strong desire to find sustainable and harmonious ways of working. Our restored building in downtown Berea, Kentucky is the home of the work and our community of regional makers.
Hardwood Gua Sha
Kentucky grown, sustainably harvested lumber with a silky smooth beeswax & organic coconut oil finish.

I bought a hand broom on a whim and now I reach for it every single day. Beautifully made, perfectly balanced, and it has held up to constant use. You can feel the care in every stitch of the binding.

These have become the most-used tools in our home. Knowing they're made by hand in Kentucky from locally grown materials makes them feel like heirlooms, not just purchases.

The craftsmanship is unmatched. I gifted a set to my parents and ordered another for myself the same week. This is the kind of work you want to keep in the family for years.
