Our Analog Night Kit is an expanded version of our best-selling broom-making kit, designed for two. Add beautiful taper candles from Stick Candles in North Carolina and you'll have everything you need for a slow evening of making, learning, and being together.
Learn to make Appalachian-style hand brooms with guidance from Cynthia Main, author of The Handmade Broom. Each kit includes enough materials to weave four beautiful, functional hand brooms, making it an easy and satisfying introduction to a traditional craft. Illustrations hand drawn by Mat McDole with handwritten notes from Jacob Goble.
No experience necessary. The kit is suitable for ages 10 and up and is designed for a range of skill levels. Some manual dexterity and pulling strength are required.

- Enough organic broomcorn to make four hand brooms
- Decorative stalks for ornamental weaving
- Colored nylon thread for weaving in green and black
- Two small dowels to use as thread spools, held with your feet as you weave
- Packaging made from 100% recycled materials, made in Colorado and Tennessee
