From the land to your home.

By sourcing our materials directly from our region and funding farmers to help us raise crops, we’re helping to regenerate a thriving, local economy and working towards a craft with a strong sense of place.

We’re a small team with sustainable ideas in craft.

Sourced close to home.

We are constantly on a quest to participate in and create a vibrant local supply chain. We work directly with local forests and farms, tanneries, wood suppliers, and raw goods manufacturers to source sustainable materials to make our work.

Lazy Eight Stock Farm

Grown in the Kentucky Sun.

We’re working on bringing our supply chain closer to home. This year, as part of a multi-year effort to source all our broomcorn locally, we’ve partnered with Lazy Eight Stock Farm in Madison County, Kentucky to grow a portion of our broomcorn just a stone’s throw from our Berea shop. Every broom kit purchase helps to strengthen our local sustainable supply chain.

NEW TO THE SHOP

Tool sets are live! All made from urban lumber from Louisville or Lexington, Kentucky, we’ve been road testing our house-made essential broom making tools for about a year. Hats off also to our local metalworker who roughed the needle shapes out for us to shape polish, and finish!
